We are excited to share four incredible (and free!) summer media programs for NYC youth interested in storytelling, filmmaking, and digital media. These hands-on workshops are a great way to build your skills, meet creative peers, and bring your stories to life—no experience needed!

Introduction to Broadcast Journalism (Ages 16–19)
Learn to research, report, film, and edit news segments that reflect diverse perspectives.
July 7 – August 7 | Monday–Thursday | 10 AM – 3 PM

Summer Supported Experimental Lab (Ages 15–21)
A creative space for students to explore film, sound, and multimedia storytelling.
July 8 – July 31 | Tuesday–Thursday | 10 AM – 3 PM

Animation Lab (Ages 14–19)
Bring your stories to life with 2D & 3D animation! Perfect for young creatives exploring design and movement.

Dual Language Documentary Lab (Ages 15–19)
Create documentaries in English or Spanish while celebrating your language and culture. Includes a stipend!
