THREE POINT SHOOTING CONTEST
The three-point shooting contest was a sports competition that was put together by Mr. Doug Cromartie. He used his experience playing basketball at Virginia Union University and professionally to create a competition for JSK students that is modeled after the one that the NBA Allstars completed. (NBA 3 Point contest is Saturday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m.). The rules were to see who could make the most three-point shots in 2 minutes. Shooters got to choose another student to rebound the ball back to them. The following students competed: Chance, Jeremiah, Darsen, Nathan, Mohamed, Chris, Angel, Andrew, Dalamar, Lian, Jamel, Jahmair, Darla, and Serena. Chance was the winner! Thank you to Mr. Cromartie for organizing. Students are looking forward to the next one!
