The students in Ms. JP and Ms. Rosangel’s class had the chance to make brochures related to the following topics:
- Politics
- Elections
- Ballots
- Voter Registration
- Voting
These brochures were more than just a class project; they allowed students to engage, learn, and participate in Election 2024.
After creating the brochures, students presented them, ensuring that everyone in the class learned as much about the topic as the students who wrote or created the brochures.
Some examples of what was written for each topic include:
- Voting: Every U.S. citizen (some areas allow non-citizens to vote in local elections only), including U.S. citizens living outside the U.S. and those born abroad who have never lived in the U.S., can vote.
- Ballots: A ballot is a process of voting that is usually done on a form that is typically kept anonymous.
- Voter registration: At least 51 million Americans are not registered to vote.
