UVA (University of Virginia) Shooting/ 3 dead, 2 injured
A shooting happened at the University of Virginia on November 13, 2002, leading to three UVA students dead and two injured, and the suspect is now in custody.

After the shooting happened the University went immediately went into lockdown, where all the students were forced out there dorms and stayed in the GYM for 11 hours.
There was a manhunt for the suspect for 12 hours. So after the suspect was captured and the weapon was discovered. The suspect is named “Christopher Darrell Jones JR”. Jones was denied bond in Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail.
Jones was close by the bus returning from a play at the University. This is when Jones open fire at the bus killing the UVA student’s football players and injuring 2 others in the process.
Jones is now facing charges of three second-degree murders, three counts of felony with a handgun, two counts of malicious wounding, and firearm charges.
UVA student named Ryan Lynch was interviewed by CNN on the bus when the shooting broke out. Lynch – “Then gunfire erupted. They just kept coming, more and more gunshots. We thought he was going to shoot everyone on the bus. But the shooter just kind of walked or, like skipped off the bus,” Lynch said.
“I think the killing must stop,” stated Mohamed Sanoh a student at JSK.
“Without strong-minded men, things like that will keep happening,” stated Darien Drouillard a student at JSK.
“Shooting in an advanced university is so messed up, this violence is getting out of hand & needs to end for the sake of students & staffs safety.” Sadiyya Lallbeharry
